Privacy Notice

Last updated: June 10, 2026

This website is informational. It is not a patient portal and does not collect protected health information (PHI) through the site. The handling of your health information as a patient of the clinic is governed by the HIPAA privacy notices you receive directly at the clinic, not by this notice.

1. Who we are

This Privacy Notice applies to the website clinicalatinacc.org and to its operation by Clínica Latina Corpus Christi (hereinafter, “we”, “us”, “our”), located at 1620 S Brownlee Blvd, Corpus Christi, TX 78404.

If you have questions about this notice or about your personal data, contact us:

2. What information we collect

2.1 Information you provide to us

The site has no forms: when you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or in person, you may voluntarily share data such as your name, phone number and the general reason for your inquiry. We only use that information to assist you.

2.2 Information collected automatically

Like any site hosted on a server, our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, device and browser type, pages visited) in its server logs, for security and operational purposes.

We currently do NOT use Google Analytics or tracking or advertising cookies. If we add them in the future, we will update this notice and request your consent before activating them.

3. How we use your information

  • Respond to your inquiries and requests
  • Coordinate and confirm appointments or reminders when you request them
  • Operate and improve the website
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Who we share your information with

We share information only in these cases:

  • Web hosting provider, which keeps the site running and processes the technical logs described above.
  • WhatsApp / Meta, when you choose to message us through that channel: that conversation is also governed by WhatsApp’s privacy policy.
  • Legal authorities, when required by law.

These third parties have limited access to the information necessary to provide their service and are obligated to protect it.

5. Your rights

Depending on the state where you reside, you may have the right to:

  • Access: request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correct: ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Delete: ask us to delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Opt out of marketing communications

To exercise any of these rights, write to us at contact@clinicalatinacc.org. We will respond within a reasonable time (typically within 30 days). If you reside in California (CCPA/CPRA) or another state with consumer privacy laws, you may have additional rights that you can also exercise through that same email.

6. Cookies and local storage

This site is static and uses very little storage in your browser. Today we do not use analytics or marketing cookies. The only thing we store is:

WhatTypePurposeDuration
themelocalStorage (essential)Remembers your light or dark mode preferenceUntil you clear it

You can clear this data at any time from your browser settings (clear site data). If we later incorporate analytics, we would give preference to cookie-free solutions; in any case we would update this section and, if any tool used cookies, we would add a consent mechanism.

7. Security of your information

We apply reasonable measures (HTTPS, encryption in transit, access control) to protect information. No system is 100% secure; if we detect a breach affecting your personal data, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

8. Minors

The site is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information through the site. Care for minor patients at the clinic is provided with the consent of their parent or guardian, in accordance with clinical practice.

9. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this notice or as required by law. Technical server logs are kept for short, rotating periods; clinical records are governed by the retention obligations of the healthcare sector (separate from this website).

10. International transfers

Some providers (hosting, WhatsApp/Meta) may process data outside the United States. When this happens, we seek to ensure they meet equivalent protection standards.

11. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Significant changes will be announced on the site.

12. Contact

Notice: this document is a general baseline and does not constitute legal advice. Clínica Latina Corpus Christi recommends reviewing it with an attorney to validate state (Texas and, if applicable, other states) and federal healthcare sector compliance (including HIPAA) before considering it final.
